Dr. D's Biography
Dr. Derrik Biller is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida who has been working with couples and families for years. Areas of expertise include: conflict negotiation, marital/couple conflict, parenting issues, substance abuse, ADHD, improving effective communication, bibliotherapy, imagery and hypnosis, listening, how to recreate passion and intimacy and to increase the feeling of LOVE one feels in their relationship.
Professional experience includes numerous local and state presentations on family and marital related issues. Special guest presentations have been made at various treatment agencies, community colleges and state universities and consultation for program development and clinical staff training. He was also an assistant presenter at the American Counseling Association-European Branch conference on hypnotic induction techniques.
Dr. Biller is an athletically inclined person who believes that good mental health is improved by good physical health.
Past personal experiences include winning the 1980 Southeastern Olympic Wrestling Trials, international wrestling
competition, many state, national and international titles, being a high school wrestling coach and competitor on the
nationally syndicate television show"The American Gladiators."
